The raging thunderstorm on the weekend did not hinder the hot sales in the property market. Two hundred forty-nine first-hand property units were sold in the past two days. SHKP's Wetland Seasons Park Phase 2 in Tin Shui Wai had sold 680 units accounting for 97% of the total in half a month, cashing in HKD4.5 billion, with an average transaction sq ft price of HKD13,130. Lui Ting, the Vice Managing Director of Sun Hung Kai, expressed yesterday that the company would put on sale the Phase 3 as soon as possible due to the overwhelming response. Phase 1 in Hoi Wong Road, Tuen Mun, will be officially launched within two weeks. The two new projects involve 581 units.

Wo Chi-Yuen, the Acting General Manager of SHKP, revealed that Villa 1 A in WSP Phase 2 has the highest transaction price of HKD20.554 million, with the sq ft price at HKD16,159. On Saturday, most visitors are from Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, and Tianshui Wai, accounting for 55%. The remaining unsold units are mainly featured units, and there is still room for price increases in the future.
Many customers focus on this project. So, Lui Ting said they would speed up the launch of WSP Phase 3, in the next quarter by estimation, and the unit types are similar to that of Phase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 1 project in Hoi Wong Road, Tuen Mun, will also upload the brochure as soon as possible, and the sale will start within two weeks. According to the information, Hoi Wong Road Phase 1 has 263 units, and Phase 2 has 406 units. So, SHKP will supply 581 first-hand property units to the market.
A large customer spent HKD13 million to buy two units in Aquila.
Henderson (0012)'s Aquila.Square Mile had sold 6 units on the weekend. A large customer bought two units, both of which were about HKD6.6 million, and the total amount was over HKD13 million. Hon Ka-Fai, the Acting General Manager of Business Department (2) of Henderson, expresses that the transactions maintain since the project was put on sale, with 11 units sold in a week. And they are 3 open style units and 8 one-bedroom units. It reflects the strong demand for homeownership.

Besides, Midland recorded 16 transactions on weekends, and Hong Kong recorded 8 cases, an average weekly increase of 33.3%. Midland even had recorded transactions in double-digit levels for 17 consecutive weekends. Ricacorp recorded transactions falling by 10% from the previous weekend to 9 cases, a record low of nearly nine weeks.
