Mid-Levels Luxury: Family Spends HK$266M on Two MVP Penthouses!

Emperor Group launched its residential project the MVP at 28 Bonham Road in Mid-Levels West on Saturday. The first batch of 14 units was put up for tender, and two penthouse units were purchased by a local family for a total of HK$266 million. The Group’s chairman Albert Yeung and his family visited the sales office over the weekend to inspect the project, creating a lively atmosphere.

According to Alex Yeung, the Group’s vice chairman, the two penthouse units sold were Unit A on the 29th floor, named "Most Valuable Palace," and Unit A on the 30th floor, named "Most Valuable Peak." These units have areas of 2,961 square feet and 2,990 square feet, respectively, and both feature five bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The price per square foot was approximately HK$45,000, setting a new record for single-floor units in the district this year.

According to the developer, all 14 units in the first batch were successfully tendered, with positive market feedback. Preparations for the next sales phase are already underway, with potential price increases for the remaining units. Meanwhile, since the opening of the MVP show flats, the project has attracted 2,500 visitors and received 250 inquiries.

In addition to the penthouses, three standard units were also sold. According to the project’s transaction records, these units were on the 15th, 16th, and 23rd floors, with saleable areas ranging from 1,289 to 1,469 square feet. The transaction prices ranged from HK$33.5 million to HK$49.27 million, with price per square foot between HK$25,989 and HK$33,542. The total sales of these five units exceeded HK$384 million.
