日本城北角健威坊分店將結業土瓜灣欣榮花園分店延至5月中

零售市道持續低迷，連鎖家品店日本城再有分店將結業。位於北角健威坊的日本城分店近日掛出「租約期滿全場5折起」的示告，全場進行清貨減價，部分商品5折起，惟店員未有透露確實結業時間。

早前日本城兩間位於土瓜灣及將軍澳民生區的店舖亦面臨結業，其中位於土瓜灣欣榮花園35-36號地下的日本城分店，原被指將在4月底結業，但近日貼出最新告示，延遲結業日期至5月中。近日有市場消息指，上述舖位新近以月租12.3萬元獲新租客承租，面積約1,529呎，平均呎租逾80元。

日本城母企國際家居零售早前表示，不時檢討開店、搬店、關店策略，部分分店純粹因租約期滿未能續租而結業。現時市況低迷，公司續租時會要求業主減租，以土瓜灣欣榮店為例，公司會將該店搬到附近租金更便宜的位置，舊店則放棄續租。

據國際家居零售年報顯示，截至2024年10月底止，本港直營店有314間。
