According to the City Planning Board, the Siu Ho Wan Depot project covers an area of approximately 3,236,300 square feet. It is planned to build 56 residential buildings with a height of 21 to 45 floors, involving approximately 11.194 million square feet of residential floor space. The non-residential part provides approximately 371,300 square feet, of which a shopping mall occupies 322,900 square feet, and four kindergartens intended for commercial operation occupy approximately 48,400 square feet. The entire project provides 5,884 parking spaces.
The fastest bidding for the first phase in 2024
According to the planning map, the coastal land on the northeast side of the site will be used as the fourth phase of the project, which is expected to provide about 6,200 public units mainly for subsidized sale of housing.
The applicant pointed out that the entire site of the Siu Ho Wan Depot will be developed in four phases, providing more than 20,000 units, half of which will be public housing mainly composed of subsidized sale housing units.
MTR Property and International Business Director Tang Zhihui said in March this year that the development of the superstructure of the Siu Ho Wan Depot is expected to be developed in four stages, and the first phase will be tendered in 2024 at the earliest.
