Wheelock sold 20.3 billion units in the first 7 months

Huang Guangyao, managing director of Wheelock Properties, said yesterday that the group’s sales in the first seven months of this year had reached 20.3 billion yuan (together with cooperative projects), which was 75% higher than last year’s 11.6 billion yuan, a record high for the same period. The 1,165 units involved are mainly from Kai Tak MONACO, GRANDE MONACO, Southwest Kowloon Harbour View I and III, and 77/79 PEAK ROAD on the Peak. In the second half of the year, the group will launch the second phase of KOKO HILLS Lantian, 10 Mutai Street in Kai Tak District and Victoria Harbour Place II in Southwest Kowloon. It is confident that the annual sales volume will exceed the historical high of 26 billion yuan.

Huang Guangyao: Property prices rise 5% in the second half of the year

Huang Guangyao pointed out that the group's sales hopes to make goods turn around. This year, it has successively bid for the land in Man Fai Road on the Peak, Phase 6 of Wong Chuk Hang Station of the MTR, and Area 24 of Kwu Tung, involving more than 1.14 million square feet of floor space. Among them, the land in District 24 of Kwu Tung, which was bid last week, will develop medium-sized residential units, mainly to attract small families and first-time home buyers. The Group will continue to pay attention to high-quality land in the future, hoping to participate more in new development areas.

He also said that the epidemic in Hong Kong has stabilized in recent months and the confidence of the people in home ownership has resumed to stimulate sales. In addition, the government has recently issued consumer vouchers to promote local consumption. The increase in customs clearance can reach 8% to 10%.

Wheelock Properties General Manager (Marketing Affairs) Chen Huici said that the group will still launch three properties in the next few months, including KOKO HILLS Phase 2 (82 units), No. 10 Mutai Street Project Phase 1 (492 units) and Victoria The Gateway II. Huang Guangyao pointed out that Victoria Harbour Place II has launched the first unit bidding, and the pre-sale of KOKO HILLS Phase 2 is still in preparation for demonstration units, and there is a chance to launch next month. The first phase of the No. 10 Mutai Street project is still pending pre-sale approval. .

Huang Guangyao also stated that the WLAB creative activity space in the Quarry Bay Dongjian Factory Building, formerly the site of the Po Chai Pills Pharmaceutical Factory, also retains some of the pharmaceutical factory facilities, covering an area of about 13,000 square feet. After being refurbished, it is shaped into a novel community creative workspace. It is reported that WLAB was jointly created by Wheelock's Club Wheelock and The DO School, an international organization in Berlin, Germany in 2020, as a community creative experiment space. Currently, WLAB has 1,000 members and has hosted many activities.

Leo Fang·Kaian sells 16 units on Saturday

On the other side, Henderson Land’s Mong Kok Leo Fang·Kaian will sell 16 units this Saturday, including open-plan and one-bedroom units, at a discount of RMB 5,470,200 to RMB 8,625,600, which is a discount of RMB 26,145 to RMB 30,280 per square foot.
